Obesity is a chronic disease that is defined as a body mass index (BMI) over 30. You are considered overweight if your BMI is 25 – 29. (World Health Organization).

At Spencer Healthcare & Wellness our customized weight loss plan starts with a comprehensive workup. We will complete a full panel of labs, based on your lab work, we will choose a weight loss plan that will best fit you and your lifestyle.

If you have insurance, you may use this for your consultation, labs, and covered medication.  Compounded Semaglutide and Tirzepatide is not covered by insurance.

Prescriptions are subject to our clinician’s professional medical opinion.  Some of the many weight loss prescription options include semaglutide, tirzepatide, bupropion, contrave, topamax and several others.

• Private app shared between you and your provider for progress tracking, including food and activity tracking, weight and measurement tracking, photo storage, nutrition, exercise, and motivation.

• Unlimited contact with your provider via your patient portal as needed.

Comprehensive work-up, follow-up visits, and labs are separate and can be billed through your insurance. Follow-ups with lab based on needs not less than every 3 to 6 months.
